Mangoré is an advisory and investment company based in Switzerland. It is 100% owned by Juan Zavalia Paunero and is dedicated to financing, project management and investments.
On Financing, we are a high-level advisor, introducer and facilitator for complex transactions matching sophisticated funding with exclusive, high return opportunities. On Project Management, we provide project management and technical services for projects which we arrange financing for. On Investments, we typically participate in deals as a merchant company.
Mangoré has been built around core relationships stemming over the last 20 years. Mangoré tenet is the value of longstanding relationships and partnerships.
Juan Zavalia Paunero has over 20 years of investment experience. Having started his career in Buenos Aires at Banco Frances del Rio de la Plata and moving on to New York to Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner and Smith Inc. to cover Latin American corporate and institutional clients and subsequently to Barclays Capital’s Oil and Gas group he then moved to Switzerland in order to work for a private investment and asset management company called Helvetica WMP AG, majority controlled by Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani, then Prime Minister of the State of Qatar and with Credit Suisse Investment Partners AG as a 10% shareholder.
Helvetica was subsequently purchased by Credit Suisse Investment Partners at which point Juan co-founded an Energy Infrastructure long/short fund called EQ Capital which was later purchased by Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. Juan then joined a merchant and private equity firm called Genii Capital in Luxemburg which owned, among its other holdings, the Lotus Formula One Team where Juan was involved in corporate, financing and commercial sponsorship matters.
Out of Genii Capital, a new entity was created called Nekton Global DMCC where Juan was the Chief Investment Officer and Director, based in Dubai, in order to focus exclusively on Energy deals. After Nekton, Juan created Mangoré and returned to Switzerland where he now lives with his wife and daughter.
Hear through the noise. Streamline and clear the process. Find the path to closing. We have learned this through success and failures.
MA&Co’s strategy is to apply its deep knowledge of financial structuring, coupled with its access to capital, to complex projects where MA&Co. can apply its project management activities.
Focus on financial mandates:
• Financial Advisory mandates with retainer and cost coverage or
• Financial introducer and facilitator mandates with success fee
